22:00, Thursday evening. Local students Alex Delaney and Jenna Pascoe involved in trespassing “urban exploration” incident at Wheal Leder Mine. “Urbexsting” appears to be the latest fad for young thrill-seekers and vandals, referring to the exploration of abandoned structures and derelict buildings. This incident is one among a string of multiple national cases within the last decade to involve the disappearance of urban explorers.

Twenty-two-year-old Conor Jacobs reported as a missing person, last seen by Delaney and Pascoe. Coastguard crews working tirelessly to find the boy. Sources have confirmed alcohol consumption prior to the incident. Residents have voiced their frustration over university students destroying the peace of their beautiful hometown. Many have called for alcohol bans and curfews to prevent such travesty from consuming St Ives.
